Our kits are designed for all art enthusiasts over the age of 12. You don’t need any art experience - if you can hold a paintbrush, you can create. Many of our customers are busy professionals, mothers, fathers, grandparents, creatives and recreationists looking for a calming, screen-free way to unwind.

Each kit includes everything you need to get started.

It depends on the design and your pace. Most customers complete their painting over several relaxing sessions, anywhere from 6-12 painting hours. Some stretch it out even longer, because the process is so enjoyable. There’s no rush - just enjoy the process.

Yes! And that’s very intentional. Art therapy has been well studied to ease stress and mental burden. Painting by number (and art therapy in general) encourages mindfulness, focus and relaxation, similar to meditation. Many customers tell us it helps reduce stress, anxiety, depression and mental fatigue after long days. Think of it as self-care … with a paintbrush.

Many of our designs celebrate Black beauty, culture, and everyday joy because this is
too often left out of the paint by number/art industry. Before I started this business, I was a
customer who was struggling to find paint by number kits with positive Black images. Our goal
is for our customers to be able to see themselves in their artwork and enjoy the visual of
gorgeous curly hair, melanated skin, brown eyes and the beautiful essence of what makes us
unshakably electrifying.

No worries at all. Acrylic paint is very forgiving and mistakes are part of the process. You can
let paint dry and then go back over it with the correct shade… or simply embrace it! Many
“mistakes” end up making the artwork even more unique. Theres no such thing as a perfect
painting.

Our kits are priced under market value. If you go to other paint by number companies,
you will find their 16x20inch framed canvas kits are much more expensive - like $60. We price
ours cheaper because we really want our customers to enjoy the experience our product
offers. We value that so much, more than profits. We even offer free shipping, because we
don’t want any barriers to you enjoying such an amazing hobby.

With each kit, you receive more than enough paint to finish each painting. BUT if you do
run out, simply write us an email at contact@relax-paint.com, and we will send you new paint
pots. All you have to do is pay for shipping.

Every paint kit ships from our small storage facility in Houston, Texas. We do not drop
ship, and we never will, which is why you can receive your paint kits in 4-5 business days.
Although our inventory is small, it’s important to know that our paint kits are on a 2-month
rotation, with brand new designs being introduced. There will always be a limited amount of
each design. Some of our designs, once out of stock, will be discontinued indefinitely, to make room for new designs.

This is why we encourage joining our RP Family email list! You will always be the first to be notified of when new
designs drop, before the general public.

Easy fix! Add a couple drops of water and swirl around to mix using your paintbrush. Try not to leave your paint pots open while you are painting. Keep them closed as much as possible to prevent drying.
